Text Box: In It's fifty year history it has given us 30 Priest for the Diocese.

With the new transition we will be having many have asked “how a bishop is selected” please see the following link from the United State Conference of Catholic Bishops website, it will show the steps on how the Pope selects the bishops: http://www.usccb.org/about/leadership/appointing-bishops.cfm

                   

We are waiting for Bishop Ochoa to make a decision on two applicants that have finish the process.  If accepted they will begin early January 2012 to continue their college level.  A 3rd applicant may be accepted to begin on September 2012.  The names of the applicants are keep confidential until a decision has been made.
